Machine Learning for Computer Security

Good and bad times with machine learning and security research

AISEC 2011 - Call for Papers

As you may have noticed, my blog largely deals with machine learning and computer security. Hence, there is good reason to spread the word on the upcoming 4th ACM Workshop on Artificial Intelligence and Security (AISEC). The workshop invites original research papers describing the use of machine learning in security and privacy problems, as well as position papers discussing the role of learning in security. Accepted papers are published through ACM.
  • Paper Submission Due: July 6, 2011
  • Acceptance Notification: August 4, 2011
  • Workshop: October 21, 2011
The workshop will be held in conjunction with the renowned ACM Conference on Computer and Communications Security (CCS) in Chicago. AISEC is one of the few events that specifically targets the challenging niche of learning and security, thus I am really looking forward to interesting contributions and innovative applications.

More information are available at the workshop's website. The original CFP is available as pdf and html.
